Here's what I'm currently working on. The idea behind this build is to modify its rather stiff pose into something slightly different. I also want the Vatshu to be able to hold the sword in one hand, and shield in the other. Considering the fact that I am a beginner, I didn't want to take a chance of messing up this kit by choosing a dramatic pose to model after. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Here's the original pose.


I started the modification in the shoulder area.



Next in line is the hand and arm. The fingers had to be sawed apart and later resculpted in order to make it possible to hold the sword.



Along with the new hand is a new blade for the sword made from plastic boards.


Here we have the extended and resculpted wrist and elbow. The pipings/hoses in the forearm is  a combination of spring and steel beads.



Still working on resculpting the neck, but will have to wait for the material I ordered to arrive in order to continue.


Here's pretty much how the final pose will look like.

Maybe you should considering being one. Some of the kits are too beautiful to pass on.

I agree. I didn't like the old Vatshu design at all. This Knight Flags/Majestic Stand version of the Vatshu is so much better in any and every way you look at it, I think.

Actually, I bought the spring and steel beads. And luckily for me, they work like I had planned. I'll have to buy more so I can replace the pipings on the thighs and legs as well.

wah!!! rich fellow.. all original fss resin kits..cost a fortune..

Unfortunately, I am far from being rich. Those kits you see in the background were collected over a long period of time, with effort put into finding each kit I might add. With that being said, I had time to save up in between each purchase.
