Shame HKML is too quiet and/or miniatures is too unpopular, Mortise Engine shared in last week is a fantastic minis, but no one interested to chat. After miniatures, i will post the finished Sci-fi kits one by one. First come out is Shin Getter Dragon, I sprayed complete metallic tones in friend workshop. btw, he won't rent workshop anymore, hence this might be last spraying kit from me. Similar to Koto, I accept the little bit high list price for goodsmile kits, but its QC, joint design, or primary model proportion must improve to next level, otherwise keep pumping out new kits still cannot keep long-term customers. Like this Getter, poor joint design, lots of level difference gaps, clear parts at chest missed internal framework, and ugly proportion... Since I painted last Getter in matt red, so chose to try metallic red for this one. Result of premium red on top of silver is better than i thought, also process not as difficult as I assumed. Last problem not relate to goodsmile, its original design went to wrong direction, Shin Getter Dragon has two designs, one appeared in OVA: Getter Robo Armageddon, another one shown in PS game: Getter Robo Daikessen. But who idiot merges gimmick of Getter 2 & 3 into Getter 1... Nevermind, next Getter by goodsmile shifted gimmick to transformation, i.e. horrible proportion, so chopped mine to busts. 這樣 2024 年第二十九作 (累計上色成品第 三 八 三 號) 入櫃了。

超級系機體噴金屬色比啞色靚好多，而且師兄用色唔算太閃，最怕嗰啲噴到好似電鍍咁。

兩隻擺埋一齊好正，手粗腳粗，夠晒muscle

作為原本係成品玩具，加裝二三號特徵上去夠晒話題，多啲嘢玩吸引玩具買家，不過效果一般，特別係巨型推進器和小腿設定一樣，看起來很怪

很多人彈這廠的模型質素，未買過，期待有機會試一試

although i keep complain goodsmile, but has product better than only in wish list. so will buy from GSC if publish any kit i like.

yes ,大隻佬. but model kit proportion is ugly, e.g. small waist, fat forearm, over-sized shoes, ... i.e. can't capture neither concept arts

metallic tone is better than i thought, but proportion of kit ...

Any tips on the metallic color?
I’ve bought the Shin getter 1

my tips:
try the colors mix on spoon first,
use colors in similar color temp, i.e. warm/cold tone,
use metallic colors in similar pigment size,
don't spray gloss coating, will affect metallic reflection.

GSC publishes some interesting mode kits, just i hope it has better molding.

i have metal 百獸王 in childhood, but no passion to buy model kit ver. since either cats mode or mech mode can't attract me
