this is my first time on painting model
i used some putty to fill the little holes on the parts.
when i started painting, i found that the paint couldnt cover the color of the putty.
i tried both acrylic and lacquer paint but they could neither cover the color..
what should i do? please help..

You may paint it for 3 layers.
Please don't rush ,paint the 2nd layer after the 1st layer paint is totally dry.
Then paint the 3rd layer when the 2nd layer is dry.
the putty should be covered by the paint after these steps normally.

If it does not work, the paint may be too dilute.
