this is hell more tougher than i imagined... already 3 days and only up to head...

also try a different approach, sand, paint, decals and matt coating for each part instead of my usual of doing every process for the whole kit, this way its more fun, but less efficient and lots of wastage in terms of paint!...

the decals' sides are very obvious...

at this rate can only finish in another months' time....

thanks, 没有耐性把水印"飞边“, so the 水印 are very obvious

"素组"hands, not yet sand, recover “水口”, spray white, decals (some times transfer) then matte finish coating with UV protection.
hopefully there's a noticeable difference... otherwise all the effort seems to be in vein, but you can still have fun even with a SD gundam tools set!!!

luckily the most noticeable difference is the gray colour parts where the matte finish coating does makes its look better and makes the 0.3 pencil markings and lines look more natural!!

just checking on the UV block matte finish coat, seems like the "frosted glass" effect is there, but the wet weather causes some "whitening"... will probably need a dryer next time.

the simplest of tools i've ever used to construct a MG, and one of the most complex MG i've ever tackle... good thing is, no modification, even when you feel like it!!! this way, less chance of "烂尾"

crawling speed, finally got spare time (wake up at 6am...) to do some "work" :P

thin layer of white surfacer 1000, the original concept was to have thin paint so can double as "toy" and transform between unicorn and NT-D mode... but not that GFFMC is going to release it, it seems the effort is a bit redundant...

extremely important tools to make the hellish task of applying decal less stressful:- mark setter to soften the decals and make them "cling" to the surface better, tweezers to separate the decals from the template and contact lens holder to rub and place the decals into position!!

now just the legs, back pack and the weapons...

i just use scotch tapes...

如果真係無乜tools, 可以只打磨, 加水貼同消光.  效果都OK.  

我以前玩罐噴時, 好吾鐘意噴白色.  後來先知用罐噴白色, 最好噴白底油.  不過搞咁多, 不如開支噴筆玩.

不過我真係佩服樓主, 係無resources情況下都堅持做好模型!
