So what happened? As most of you know, Dragon adopted a business model a number of years ago where it discontinued producing a number of kits on a regular basis favoring instead to release them once in a while as ‘White/Orange box’. That is why we’ve seen dozens of Panzer III, Panther, Sherman, etc., reissued over and over again, each time with new decals and perhaps a new part or two. While this business model was tolerated while the economy was strong, the constant flood of reissues today is causing a specific chain store to sit on unsold inventory. What kept everyone going was that Dragon continued to inject new kits into the mix to provide some variety, but the flow of new tooling has ebbed with the economy as well so that we have little more than reruns coming out of Dragon these days.
我想帶出既係, business model 其實間間廠都係咁, 不論bandai老大哥好, tamiya龍頭 reissue好, fujimi 一模幾百個花都好, 大家都係咁做既同時, 點解呢個會係龍記唔同老長玩既原因?
再換一個角度再睇, 老長一直都有新既大船出, 唔同花唔同decal 亦一直係戰機好玩既地方(即時唸記109既果隊二戰機), 我完全唔覺得reissue得多係去唔到貨既原因.....
