hmm apart from the chest i think the frontskirt is a little strange... rather plaplate-like...

the chest need to be larger than the original lineart to beef up the Bazam. again i believe the size should be fit as i noticed the pictures were taken from the top down and the waist is leaning back which give a wrong impression on the overall scale. once i have the kit on hand i will review and retake the picture. also i have to see worry about the internal frame limitation.  sometimes is all about balance of the cost/limitation/appearance....

also the front skirt armor will be refine directly on the cad :)...don't worry.

yep understood! and the colour might be a reason for the oversized impression. i think most of us do realise that this isn't as straightforward as merely changing the appearance of the model but rather it needs alot more considerations and there's a certain stage where it needs to compromise(besides that's what "designing" in general is all about, learning how to compromise with given restrictions, just that the limitations have been pushed further back these days than how it used to be with new methods or technologies available). anyway we all do really appreciate the great work u've been doing for all the model fans here! just leave me a set heh :P just a bit curious how long does it normally take from CAD to production stage?

adding detal marking. i also retake the photo...the proporton should be fine.

yep looks fine now i think, the way the waist was leaning backwards on the first set of pics made alot of diff...
really quite like how the head turns out, well proportioned, prolly even better than ka's lineart.
hmm any chance u can add a bit more details on the joint for the top of the red hatch where it opens? if the center part can be made into a seperate piece? cos it looks a little flat atm... or i'm just being picky

Oh, It's look beter than the first version, But the head, side leg and front skirt are very similar

For my opinion, I thinks the fin and the front chest is look oversize, smaller it maybe look better.

I'll try finish my bazam as soon as posible, I'll take the picture to compare with you

welcome on your comment. let me explain more on design concept behind. what you see now is actually the same kit. I didn't change anything after the last info update. I re-take the photo to show the angel of the shot did have impact on the overall shape.

first - here was the the 1st proto




What I have done so far on the 2nd proto are

1. Revised the head. The fin and the head proportion are actually following the Gundam fix.
    - if you think the fix is not a good proportion reference...what exactly do you think is the right size?

2. there is no further revision on the check size from the 1sr proto.
    - I believe the chest size is alright. I have no intention is copy any previous lineart. I like the feeling on a heavier armor.
    - I have also taken the max limitation on the internal frame. Any further reduction on size means a whole upper body parts.
    - My intention of a TRUE conversion kit is to maximize the original kit and controlling the cost of the conversion kit at low price.
3. Revised the side leg armor. You can see I have also beef up the side armor compare with the 1st.
    - I believe it already matches up with the rest of the body proportion.
4. Size up the front skirt armor and the low front armor as person previsous comment from this board.
   
Try not to think I am copying exactly other's works. I have my own interpretation and that's what make this work fun.

there is no further revision on this kit as my japanese partner already APPROVED the design. we are moving forward to the Cad drawing procedure and will have the rapid proto (the transparent proto) ready to review by end of next month.
