This is first time I post my work here - WSC 1/00 Vatshu The Black Knight.. very slow progress.The photos were taken almost a month ago and the dirt (black mark) left on ventilation exit near the chest has been removed..

Cool.. you see the color difference...

The outer armour is not purple. It is deep blue + multipe layers of  pearl white. My aim is to create  kind of metallic effect. Actually I attempted to reproduce the color effect which is as close as possible to the color shown in the Factorys. Unfortunately, my lousy photo taking skill does not capture the result.

The skeletion is also the deep blue -> super iron.

Thank.  I also notice same posture problem you said. The "posable" feature of WSC does cause so much problem, indeed.   I haven't apply glue to the kit. Hopefully, after I put everything together the posture can still be maintained.

I know you are painting a Volks V-Siren Prominence. Seems you have stopped working on it for a while.. really want to see its completion.

some recent updates... It is nearly 90% completed. The shoulders and head have not been glued to the body. Left arm is still detachable from the body for later putting the big shield on. The kit is a bit dusty after leaving in open air.. hope you still like it.. will try to take some better pictures after completion.

Thank for your support. There is a big round shield on left hand and some pipes that between the shoulder and forearm are not finished yet.

Yeah, WSC kit does introduce quite a lot of troublesome with their posable joint. That's why many people like the simplicity of Volks SSS.

So sorry that it is a bit difficult to show you how to set bronze rod this time since I have applied glue on the joint and the pelvis. I can take more pictures next time when I build another WSC kit. Next one may be Ashura Temple..

I didn't have any special trick or skill. I also make plenty mistakes on setting bronze rod. If a "big" mistake is made, I usually use polyester or A/B putty to fill the hole and do it again.

I am "new" to FSS too. This is my first FSS getting closed to completion after picking up model building recently. I need to thank this forum to give me the drive;  in particular, after seeing Kyy's KOG and chatting with someone teaching model building in MK, they give me a lot of inspiration.

For outer armours, I attemped to reproduce color tone shown in Factorys 01-04 and Knight Flags  From the reference books, the Black Knight is, in fact, not "black".. It is kind of very deep purple/blue.
