Since it is a long time ago to build the Soper 96 BMW. So, I don't remember need to repaint or not !!

But anyway, I think that we don't need to repaint the Grey Stripe. Just only using thinner to remove the markings is OK !!

It is 1991 British Touring Car Championship ( BTCC ) - Team Labatt’s - BMW M3 E30.

The Racing Driver is Tim HARVEY  who coming first in the Macau Guia Race 1989.  He also won the BTCC title in 1992 driving a BMW 318 coupe, run by Vic Lee Motorsport, winning six races and qualifying for one pole position. And he finished 3rd in 1990, 8th in 1991, and 5th in 1995. Harvey drove a Peugeot 406 in the British Touring Car Championship in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

For the BTCC 1991, the overall championship standings of HARVEY is in 8th places ( 42 points ) & get one victory in last round Silverstone.

到90年, 寶馬再戰 RS 500........咦! 有冇搞錯! 士佳麗先至係主角喎!        至於 R32 Skyline GTR 唔駛提, 當佢冇到, 因為都根本冇得鬥!!!
寶馬唔再著 Kamachi 鞋, 改飲菓汁先生. RS 500 雖然都是屈臣士, 但其實轉了隊, 同是來自英國的 Rob Gravett, 原因當年 Gravett 擊敗 Rouse 成為英國房車賽總冠軍. 賽程一如預測, 寶馬的 Pirro 得個追字.......但未到賽事中段已經追得好近, Gravett 不竟是東望洋新丁, 手車亦非頂級, 開始滕雞, 在警察學堂的急右灣自炒, Pirro 叫做報左仇.

91 年是首屆澳門杯,
黃, 關二人的是 Schnitzer 正廠 2.5 M3, 他們和 Schnitzer 的關係密切, 全東南亞包括日本, 只有他們才能買到, 梗係非最新 spec 啦 . 但已經憑它足以成為賽事大熱門. 李的 M3 亦是歐洲廠車, 但唔知係唔係 Schnitzer ?? 不過已是幾年前, 88年(?) 李用來賽當年葡國杯的 2.3 舊車, 那年的車花仍然保留白底三間色斜條花, 到91年改噴紅底金/銀色名牌手錶 (贊助商 飛臘sir ro ) 花. 當年的電視台賽車評述員/知名賽車手便引發了一場風波 : 說有謠言話李那M3 非法改裝, 由 2.3 改為 2.7  最後獲得澄清.

賽果.....爆大冷. 李的 M3 葡京灣自炒左邊車頭唔只一次, 陣的 RS 500 又係自炒個尾, 記得在松山上路, 警察學堂??  (Rob Gravett 同一命運?) 因為那裡有兩個急右灣好相似的, 總之是其中一個啦.    最慘係同隊, 黃和關的兩架 M3 在過完海閣遊雲之後, 入髪夾灣之前的直路仔互炒!!   錦樣先至輪到泰國車手的 1.6 AE 92 冷手執個熱煎堆. 這架 AE 92 是泰國豐田廠車, 都唔係流架!!!

It is 1991 British Touring Car Championship ( BTCC ) - Team Finance - BMW M3 E30.

The Racing Driver is Steve Soper. He raced in sports cars and touring cars at the top level for over 20 years. In 1983 he almost won the British Touring Car Championship before his Rover was deemed illegal. He finished as runner-up in the series in 1988 in a Ford Sierra, and in 1993 behind team-mate Joachim Winkelhock for BMW. In 1997 he came second in the FIA GT Championship and was fifth in the one-off World Touring Car Championship in 1987.

He has also competed in the European, Japanese and German Touring Car Championships. He won the 24 Hours Nürburgring in 1987, the 24 Hours of Spa in 1995, and the Guia Race in 1997, many of these was through his long association with BMW, During the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans, he was known to express his dislike of the 24 hour classic.

For the BTCC 1991, the overall championship standings of SOPER is in 4th places ( 96 points ) & get 3 victories ( Rd 3-Donington Park, Rd 7-Silverstone & Rd 12-Thruxton ).

It should be Tim Harvey BMW !! Also, the team is UK team, not Italy !!  

History of the Vic Lee team is as below;

Vic Lee Racing (VLR) formerly Vic Lee Motorsport (VLM) was a UK auto racing team, most famous for running BMWs and Peugeots in the British Touring Car Championship, and most infamous for the drug-related convictions of its owner Vic Lee.
As Vic Lee Motorsport the team had considerable success in the early 1990s: in 1990 Jeff Allam won his class in a VLM prepared BMW M3, 1991 saw Will Hoy take the BTCC title in a similar car, and Tim Harvey won the championship for the team in a BMW 318is.
However, the company was liquidated when Lee and others were convicted of importing drugs hidden in their race transporters worth £6 million, suspicions having been raised due to the number of times the team found it necessary to test at the Zandvoort circuit in Holland. Lee received a sentence of 12 years imprisonment in 1993.
