yeh, some people already mention that i have to be very careful wit the application of clear red, especially for this very uneven surface. any tips one how to do it better??
and for the paint, im not sure what the reason is. there is tamiya can, my hobby can spray, i think they are both lacquer base?
but for the paint to put into airbrush and normal brush, theres only tamiya acrylic and enamel avaliable....... with a few exception in a chinese shop whick only stocked some matalic color for gundams..... so, if i do secide to buy the pump and airbrush, its gonna be difficult for me or get paint..... so have to consider this carefully. maybe order from hk, but dont know if u can post it.

haha thanks for your compliment, i think this is a very good result from only spray can, also, the real thing is actually a bit lighter and the matalic-ness from the gold is somewhat very well covered by the clear red, so it doesnt come through too much. over all im very happy with this color and i may consider using it on other cars.

ur fd is very lucky to have visted such event, i would love to go, at least for once. look forward to seeing ur interpertation of the 2007's color mate.

erm well this one was released around june, so about half way through the 08 season, expect the same for any 08 machines to be released.
also i have a bad feeling that this year they might release the mp4-23 as its the "champion car"

Thanks for your comment on the color, after spraying it, i do realize its not the same as the original, but thats probably as close as i can get using spray can. so im pretty happy with it. also, i think this color is really beautiful, i might rate it along side with pearl white, i might try this on another car someday, but maybe spray a thicker layer of clear red to create a darker sort of wind red color. hehe.

what r u working on lately mate?

about the spray work, i should get it when i'm back in hk, im still contemplating tho, its either a phone or a spray set..... hmmmm decision decision
