This LA team is very energetic, young & confidence (cos they trust Kobe and Phil Jackson)
For the starters and the bench, only Fisher is over 30
vice versa, though, only Parker is below 30, their benches, Horry, Finley are all even mid 30s...
Tim Duncan has his superiority over Gasol, but with Radmanovic or Odom come to double team, he has problem and the Lakers are quick enough to move around and adjust their defense...
one is a team, young, with talent and hungry for the Championship rings, and have the experience (Kobe, Fisher & Jackson), the other is old and seams not have hungry....
LAL is not NOH, Kobe, Fisher & Jackson are experienced, not like CP3 and Scott, they won't let SAS come back like last round

Celtics 都應該可以作客羸一埸, 2-2 返 Boston 再打過.

週日清早起床睇 NBA,
Pistons 既 starting line-up introduction 好正, 有震撼力; 但可惜一開波被 Celtics 壓住打, 終於在客埸打出水準了.
I bet Eastern Conference Finals would be much exciting then the Western.
It's a nice weekend.
兩朝都有 playoffs 睇, 再加一場 well exhausted, sweating football game last evening....

Detroit is fighting hard tonight and leading 4 points at halftime.  They definitely have to even the series or it would be over.  I believe they can do it, while they were losing 20 points during 4th quarter the other nights, the players' eyes still showed they wanted to fight for a comeback.
They still got fire.
They ended up just losing 14.

Gino and the Spurs played their traditional Champion basketball at Alamodome last night.  However, why they're playing that ugly while they're away (in NO and LA)?  Checked the eyes and facial expression of the starters Friday night 4th Q, at Staples Center, they simply gave up, just wait to play back home.... They ended up losing 30!
That's not the heart of a Champion.

nobody response for several days....
anyway, now is Game 4 at San Antonio, Lakers are leading since Q1, but not able to pull away.  Now is Q4 and the score is real close. Just watching the score running in NBA.com is exciting enough.
LA is looking for a away win and take a commanding lead 3-1 lead of the series and return home.
SA wants to win real bad as (I don't remember is there any) there's no way to make a 1-3 come back against Phil Jackson, for 2 away games.
Gino just scored 4, but Barry stepped up and scored 20.
Now SA is just trailing by 2, 79-81

Popovich and the Spurs just are not ready to defend the Champ. For how many times in the past 10 years they got kicked by Phil and the Lakers???

【明報專訊】因節目太過具有「娛樂性」，不符合地震災後氣氛，美國    職業籃球賽（NBA    ）季後賽在中國大陸的賽事轉播全面停播，暫時未知何時恢復。NBA中國區執行官表示，NBA支持救災工作，希望能早日恢復轉播。
據上海    《東方體育日報》引述中央電視台奧運    頻道總監江和平說，已經接到上級部門通知，暫停轉播NBA季後賽，原因是其「太富娛樂性」。
央視工作人員表示，未知何時能恢復轉播，「我們要做的就是等待上級的決定」；除中央台，各地電視台亦停播NBA比賽。
據悉，此次停播不會影響NBA和央視的合作，據路透社引述NBA中國區首席執行官陳永正說，「NBA支持中國政府對地震災區的救援和重建工作，我們正與中央電視台有密切的合作，以求有關NBA的比賽和報道能盡早以適當的方式恢復」。
另外，據中新網報道，NBA宣布將捐款1400萬元人民幣，用以幫助四川    災區救援和重建。「地震災難深深震撼了NBA大家庭的每一個人……NBA將全力以赴參與到中國人民災後恢復的工作中。」NBA主席大衛．斯特恩說。

Lakers 明早羸一場, Celtics 週六一早羸一場, 下週初開始 Finals!!! 打 6 場分勝負, (我估)
剛剛同 Euro2008 搭上4-5日.....

就係咁D 模型又幾個星期冇開工...

我都希望係兩件事, 但係....
唔該搵個高人解解話...

係咁就睇下係邊個既損失...
1. Lakers vs Spurs, Celtics vs Piston 及跟住既 finals 可能係MJ 退休後最精彩既一系列對碰. 奧運當前, 究竟係邊個需要吸收組驗
2. 要睇波既總有辨法跟踪賽果, 擁躉們可不會因為睇少幾場波而不再追球星
3. 廣告收益??? 有幾多落美國人既袋? 對美國人有幾 significant? 有幾多落中國人既袋? 又有幾 significant?

還記得十幾廿年前既一個廣告對白...
香港幾好都有, 點舍得走...

冇錯, 一確認 "色•戒" 係奧斯卡冇入圍, 湯唯跟著就被....
最近有得去康城都算好彩啦...

Lakers 係呢方面都算做得唔錯, 91年打過 Finals, 2000 已重奪冠軍, 2004 後散左, 2008 又再一次挑戰冠軍. 咁多年, 由 Chamberlain, Jabber, Magic, Shaq, Kobe, Lakers 都成功搵到重建冠軍球隊既重心人物.
反觀, Celtics, Bulls, Rockets, Pistons, Heats, 76ers, Knicks 等等都失諸交擘....

都唔可以咁講,
1. 當一隊球隊 stay on top 逾十年, 那即足足十年失去優先選秀既權利...
2. 唔好理 Bruce Bowen 既手法, 若成功令Kobe 其中十次八次起手無功而還, 消耗體力, 已是好有幫助
3. 冇先選秀權, 唯有用已有既強 Roster, 吸引一些失意 veteran 過來, 已經驗搭夠啦.  有salary cap, 及其他球隊可未蠢致低價換有潛質既新人做交易...

Spurs 都係要 rebuild 架啦

I'm impressed that the Spurs didn't give up, they came out strong in the 1st quarter, and make it a close game in LA till now 7+ minutes to go...

Tomorrow is Boston at Detroit, Game 6!!!

Lakers is going to the Finals again 5th since 2000.  Gino had another off game for just scoring 9 points, he only played good once Game 3 in SA, the only win of the Spurs for the series.  Kobe proved he is the MVP for scoring 39 points and carried the team over from a bad start of the 1st quarter.

I'm not sure if it is Tim Duncan's 1st Triple Double in the playoffs, however that's the end of the team this season.

Now we are waiting for the Celtics (I wish)!!!
