No need to apply any color. I have seen a real front wing of 312T2 before. Its appearance looks the same as the current status.

However, if you really need to put some color on the PE. I'd suggest you may want to SAND the PE a little bit in order to make primer staying on the PE

Actually, you are right on the Rivet Shape. I wanted to do such alternation by putting individual rivet at the inistal stage. However, I found this might be not feasible since the EDGE of the cockpit is very THIN and it is very hard/impossible to plant rivet there

Actually, I got this model @ 40% off and it is kinda good deal.

Building a WHITE METAL kit is not an easy job. However, it is a very good excise. It contains many many parts. After building one of this car, you would know more and more detail about car and even its history. For the 312 serious, I have at least 4 to 5 books as reference material. Although it is challenging, it is funny.

In about 70s, there is no Carbon Fiber. In order to decrease the weight of F1, some part was made in Glass Fiber. For example, air duct


However, this effect is difficult to simulate in modeling. It looks like some wooden part now. So, urgly !


My friend told me this is one of the tricky part in modeling. He suggested that just paint the part in BLACK. Anyway, I just wanna try my best and give a best shot on it. So, I think this is the best I could do
