Another good site on LED technique for your reference:
http://www.theledlight.com/technical.html
You may need to connect your LEDs that arrange in parallel connection since you have at least 33 LEDs.
Assuming you are using all Red color LED which has normal power rating at 1.7V, you will require at least 56.1V power supply when 33 LEDs are connected in series.
As suggested to connect all LEDs in parallel the power supply would remain at 1.7V but the drain current (discharge current) adds up.
You therefore require a resistor connected in series to lower the supply voltage of 3V from battery to 1.7V (use the program to calculate).
Since the drain current for 33 LEDs is estimated at about 1.2A, the battery life for a AAA battery at 1200mAh would be approximate 1 hours neglecting the power consumption of the resistor in series and the battery internal resistance.
In this case for lighting up your model car for about an hour, you may require to change a new battery afterward. You may need an easy access of the battery replacement at your model car.
For lighting with so many LEDs, normally people will use a DC transformer instead of battery drive.
If you prefer to use battery, I suggest you to keep an eye on the temperature of the battery and the time of lighting to preserve your model in good condition.
Hope the above information is helpful and sorry for not typing this infomation in chinese.
