最尷尬的是, 車隊的合法官方名稱仍是 ***BMW***Sauber, 但 Sauber 已簽約改用法拉利引擎參加今季賽事.......
點解唔改名呢???

However, with the team's 2010 entry having been lodged last season with 'BMW' in the title, the team cannot simply amend the name without the approval of the Formula 1 Commission.

The team has not yet made a formal application to change the name, and a spokesperson told that plans had not yet been finalised to do so.

"The team is currently called the BMW Sauber F1 Team, and this is the name which we stated in the entry form for the 2010 championship," he said. "At this point in time there is no firm date as to when we will submit an application for a name-change."

The changing of a name will require the support of rival teams, plus that of the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone.

Even Brawn GP's switch to Mercedes GP - plus the fact it would keep its television rights money - was only approved on an ‘exceptional' basis late last year.

FIA : "This ( Brawn ---> Mercedes ) has been granted on a one-off exceptional basis due to Mercedes-Benz's long-term involvement and commitment to Formula 1."

江湖地位, Sauber 點同 Mercedes 比呀!!! 全世界咪一鬼樣!

To be honest it doesnt really matter...

As soon as Sauber took over he announced using Ferrari engines!

Renault無贊助???   Color Pattern 好有以前RE10, RE20的味道

到現時為止, 唔計部 BGP001"扮" MGP-W01 外, 架 R30 個鼻最倭.

Yep and the R30 is the only car with the front wing as forward... rather than the nose poking out like others

又未必o既. 好似R26試車果陣都係用呢隻 color scheme

MGP-W01 真身的車鼻令我想起 F-2001
佢個入風口形狀偏向打撗, 即是倭而寬. 變相實際車身高度是比對手倭的, 只是上面加一條垂直鰭, 吊車孔設計在這條鰭道添!!!

此新設計唔知係咪會讓多些車頂的空氣壓在尾翼上呢???

我這個讀書唔成的純想當然  係咁簡單就我就一早發左達啦!

The diffuser is the one that is making the difference this year! As the fact it is the last year of double diffusers, rumors are that the teams are making extreme versions of them.

Rear wing is the same size as last year? (I m not sure please correct me if I m wrong)

hahaha so everyones copying red bull's RB5, ferrari, STR, and benz all have the 2 ridges on top of their nose cone.....
this year's cars looks a lot bigger than last year~~ the tail are so long.... looks weird....
Ferrari - dun really like the white bit... and as people say online, i hope this is not the final aero package, cos it looks too much like lasy years and we all know how crap that was.
Mclaren - erm yeh..... pretty ugly, but go button
benz - no comment
sauber - a very complicated front wing.... but lack sponcers~ a plain car looks very nice
renault - so ugly, and no big sponcers.... without alonso they are gone.....

有記者問到 Ross Brawn 對今年各戰車外形的首次印象

Q. Are there any surprises when you look at the other cars, are there any components which are worth looking at?

Ross Brawn : It's too early to say, to be honest, we haven't had a very good look. All the photographers are out there gathering data for the teams. I am sure when the engineers pour all over the photographs there will be some interesting things. Obviously most teams have gone to high front chassis of varying degrees - as we have.

Q. But yours is lower than others.

Ross Brawn : Hmm, the tip of the nose, but where we feel it most beneficial which is on the front bulkhead it is fairly high.

舊年冬季試車時, 由於09年賽例大改, 焦點落在大幅減細的尾翼面積, 再加上加大頭翼的 "火上加油", 令賽車的整體平衡對車尾雪上加霜, 所以09年各車隊工程師的課題變成是車尾 grip level, ( 亦因此卒之衍生出 double deck diffuser 事件 )

這其實是較罕見的. 因為一般來說, front end grip 是 "傳統" 的焦點, 車的轉向, 就像火車頭 (頭胎 front grip)拖著火車卡 (尾胎 rear grip) 的原理, 頭輪是因, 尾輪是果.

經過09年後, 各車隊已有晒數據後, 今年便回復"傳統" --- 關心 front end grip 多一些, 再加上今年的頭胎尺寸窄過舊年, 所以更加重要. 相信 2011 年 double deck diffuser 禁止採用時, 又再諗過.
