Question : Is it necessary to apply Mark Setters/ Softers everytime while dealing with decals?
I have applied softer to all decals this time ...and it seems that it will over stretch them...
and it gave me a hard time to align all the lines( the fun part )

Like I said on another thread earlier, Softener and Setter is NOT neccessary at EVERY CASE.
it all depends on the quality of the decal and the way you are dealing with it.
once you manage to apply decals with your own style, you may develop you own way to TACKLE every single sheet of decal you encounter.
for example, i am kind of excited every time i deal with cartograf decals and so i spend more time sealing them with setter or softener. and i also reassure they are right in their place and remove any dirt or dust again with little water.
but for other decals like hasegawa or tamiya originals, i will just mildly apply little setter to make sure the decal will not break wasily. and i dont even touch the decal right after the first touch. i will apply clear coat right the way to secure the decal first.

I apply softer case by case. But what I must do is that after the decal in right position and all surface water remove by tissue, i will use 風筒 to soft and fix the decals.
