終於係兩日前的起心干
砌起我第一部汽車模型 mini cooper with john cooper works kits

顏色係用左家姐最鍾意嘅白頂黑身. 或者當係生日禮物吧...

呢盒野其實都幾易砌, 扣除爛尾日子由外殼噴灰到上色共一年,
剪件用左一晚, 噴灰上色一日, chrome件及透明件處理共一日.
因為冇superclear冇得學刨光, 結果合共用左3日就搞掂

話晒係第一次砌車, 好多地方需要改進, 千期唔好俾面, 有咩錯漏即管狠批

就算唔係簽個名都好丫

第一次砌得唔錯呀~下次有機會再砌過既話拋埋光就更好啦

有得刨我都想學呀~

又唔可以空運壓縮罐

  good job for a first car, but u didnt spray the black trim for the front and back window. work harder on ur gallado and pray they have super avaliable lah~~

why? In terms of power, if u compare with other 1600cc car, Mini is not the best but reasonable. But i think the design of NEW Mini is really great. At least most of the girls love it

coz he knows i own one.

performance wise is decent if ure never plan to have guests in the backseats.

comfort wise, having a mini for everyday driving i resulted in RSI of backpain,
plus on average almost got into accident 1.5 times per week because drivers on the road think ur car is so small they can just overtake u aggressively.

maintenance wise.... all i can say is get rid of the car before it reaches 4th year.

btw u reckon girls love mini more or this?

I think all cars may have Pros and Cons, depends on what u want. Take an example, Ferrari or Lambrogini may be someone's dream car but is it comfortable? How much you pay for Gasoline every month? There is no backseat!?? Why don't you buy a Hiace?

Everyone can have their dream car with no reason. You love it just because you love it. Right?

Go back to the performance, 1.5times accidents per week!!?....How do you drive?   Regarding the maintaince, I know that there are much problem for those A/T which manufactured before 2004. And mine is M/T so that I can get rid of this Regarding the seat, I am using a pair of Sparco seat instead of the original one and it is really comfortable.

I think the mini should be a great car for a girl to drive as its cute, but then again theres much cheaper cars for that job. ie mazda 2, ford fiester fiat 500 etc.

for a guy this car is way down on power, dont know about the cooper s, but the cooper, kinda weak. but maybe its more fun for a manual version, but i never played with one....

i agree that every car have pros and cons, as for a mini, its looks fun, but try fitting in the back seat when your 180cm tall, ur knee againest the front seat and head touching the top......

and the front seat isnt much better also, the comfort setting is hard and extra hard.

and finally for that price, i would take a civic type r any day, or even jsut use half that to get a 180sx or 200 sx in decent condition and have the rest of the money to play arnd with modification.

mini cooper was not a fuel efficient car despite the its 1.6L capacity.


i cant compare with ferrari and lambo as i never sat in one.
but mini's backseat is more or less useless. its english made (now germany) but it can barely fit an asian adult in.


as a matter of fact, my dad drives a Hiace and its fun driving it sometimes.


4x4 just cut into the lane without putting indicators,
trucks pressure u until u are right on the verge of hitting the side blocks on a highway,
u name it i have faced it, it has nothing to do with my driving skills what so ever.
its the difference between driving a tofu sized mini and a brick wall Land Cruiser.


my problem isnt about transmission and in fact my 2002 model has superb gears that never been a problem. the problems are:
1. mini cooper is the first wave to introduce 6 airbags, and the door is so heavy that everytime u shut the door hard u have a high chance of triggering the side airbags without it actually inflating, as a safety measure AND to avoid voiding the insurance coverage you must fix it. AUD$200+ per visit at BMW.
2. since mini is a frameless windowed door, and you know when you shut the door, the window wind down a bit then goes back up, the same thing goes again, if u shut the door a bit harder than gentle, you always face the fate of breaking either the radiator or that muthaf**king mechanism that does the winding. Worse more, i have been quoted AUD$1000 per side to fix my already malfunctioning window motor.
3. the stupidest fault with mini is actually at the rear windscreen wiper's water beam. mysteriously they have used an easy rusting metal on the connector between the tube linked to the water tank and the wiper.

with the seats, since my sister is the owner of the car and i drive the civic type r above, i dont give single shit no more, and im happy as ever.

mini WAS a good car, but it doesnt last very long. my mini is 70k mileage and its starting to get inefficient.
moreover, it never gave me a feeling of the car is alive, like this civic type r did.

As i mentioned, no matter u drive Mini or Civic or even Ferrari, they all have it's pros and cons, but you can still love it. If you compare all the criteria one by one, Rover Mini would be much more terrible right? The Price is not cheap, much smaller, no power.....But still, many people love that. Just like my uncle, he like his Crown Taxi so much, but you cannot challenge him! right?

Try to watch the Movie "The Italian Job", I like that so much

well, when it comes down to it, then what u said is really true, u dont need a reason to love a car.

i have tried to watch the italian job, but a gave up after 30 mintues or so as i was so sleepy already. maybe i give it another try later.

crown is actually REALLY good. im disappointed that its not on production in sydney.

italian jobs' mini cooper is no match with austin power the gold finger's mini

The 2nd Half of the Movie is more exicting especially when you see 3 Mini run into the Subway
