Forum is very quiet after lockdown period of covid-19, not remain many active members/modelers... 永遠懷念鳥山明齊齊砌 is the second group build in 2024, maybe the last group build in this year too... Although my childhood also Akira Toriyama most famous period, but i not a fan of his Dr. Slump or Dragonball series at all, i like his designs for DQ series more. Sandland is one volume comic of his late works, there even has a mediocre video game & anime after his death this year. btw, i never thought he will die before Hayao Miyazaki, who will die next? If bandai not publish model kit for tank104, i afraid i won't have any interested kit to join group build. This kit is published right after the news of Akira death, one local shop sells it in 30% off, it is lucky that one of my friend informed me, so i could bought it in reasonable price (i.e. matched exchanging rate). Overall QC is same as bandai gunpla, therefore not match AFV standard, but not many SD tank (actually is 1/35) in the market, so this kit still a great choice since it has interior, crews & base. This fat teapot shape tank is in simply yellow color scheme in setting. I certainly paint it with camo, my scheme began with the coverart of deluxe edition of game: light grey tone, hull red skirting, shark teeth marks. Based on this, i added welding lines first, then painted bright green & orange brown camo on light grey hull, drew big shark teeth & relocated the eyes from turret to hull, used pastel green for interior, crews are refer to comic cover, touchup heavy weathering after several washes. For the base, i applied thin layer of texture paint to improve rough surface, added a skull from miniatures, used glazing technique to paint nameplate. 這樣 2024 年第二十七作 (累計上色成品第 三 八 一 號) 入櫃了。Finally, Akira R.I.P.

try camo+weathering, there has lots of fun during process & result.
added details came from 1/16 & 1/72 AFV, 1/12 bike, hexagear, miniatures.

chose 12 as killing marks just aesthetic, no special meaning on it.
if not use 12, i will choose 13 but won't be 11,14,15.

no, i haven't buy the game, reviews mention it is repetitive, empty, and expensive.
