Before applying decal, the surface should be level. Since TS51 is a metallic paint, you should apply a few layers of clear coat first. Then wet sand the clear coat prior to apply decal. In your case, the casue of bubbles is because the decal is not resting on the surface especially those grove and valley area. And you apply the clear coat too rush and cause flooding. The paint went underneath the decals from those 'little space". When the paint evaporate, it cause bubbles. So next time, use knife to cut the decal between the door and make sure the decals are resting completely on the valley areas. When applying clear coat, no rush. You can use double action airbrush. Light trigger will porduece air without paint. One paint (a least 1 ft away), one air (close) to dry the paint. Repeat the steps several time especially those door area and valley area. Once you've build up a certain flat paint layers, then you can flooding to produce a glossy layer. Pending for polishing.

To fix your bubbles, try hair dryer. If no good, you can wash the car with paint thinner, buy aftermarket decal, re-do again.

First of all, thnak you for your comments, and my english is quite poor, please forgive my grammar mistakes. I have already polished the metallic paint before applying the decals, but i think the intensity is not enough. Refer to your comments, "use knife to cut the decal between the door and make sure the decals are resting completely on the valley areas" should i also cut the corner (i mean the L part in the last photo ) to ensure there are no bubbles? altough  i have applied the clear coat slowly and thin for the first three layers, next time i think i should flood it after a few more layer is added. By the way, i don't understand what is double action airbrush, i am now using spray can and i think it is quite difficult to porduece air without paint and i will try the method of using hair dryer if the decal softener do not work

If the area has a chance for the paint to run such as panel lines (door, hood, tunk...etc), it is better to separate the decal and apply softner to make sure there is no gap btw the decal and the surface. Other areas, make use the decal set completely on the surface should be OK.

Using spray can has a few disadvantage such as waste of paint, hard to control,...etc.

For airbrush, you can goto hobby store such as "Chi Lei Tat" in Mongkok and ask the staff there. I used Iwata airbrush 0.5mm with big cup - gravity feed perfer. And you can pick any afforable compressor. I use Iwata too.

I use one airbrush for metallic paint and the other for non-metallic paint. This can make sure no metallic particle would show up on the clear coat.

Good luck.
