Ferrari 330P3 Full detail

After 6 months of works, it's finished. Front and rear cowl cut open. Scratch build front detail. Engine transkit from HRM. Studio27 PE. Detailed brake line, throttle spring, ignition and lines.

Why the exhaust pipes are white? Never seen one like that.
Why a race car would have a spare tire, too much weight.
Spare tire too closes to the exhaust pipes, heat will melt the tire.

The white substance is the heat/fire proof thing to prevent extra heat from exhaust.
The spare tire is typical for LeMan Cars in the 60's.

Thanks for the support. Can anyone help me or any tips of painting the gold "ring" on the tires? What type of paint stay on the rubber tire? I'm having a hard time making the tires.
