yeh~ as joey explained for me~ i dont have a pump..... so cant try that out lah~
at the moment cans are still satisfying me needs. but sure will get a pump and airbrush in some stage.
but that will bring another problem, mr hobby lacqure base paint is not avaliable in australia. theres only acrylic and enamel. soooo....... yeh, little bit of a problem.


hahaha maybe from my poison, i can get u to like it~~ (althought its not that poisonous)
but one thing for sure, building f1 is really fun.


those gas is really expensive. and from what i hear, the pressure differes a lot from full can to near empty can. so.... nah.....


that color actually looks alright~ does this mean ur gonna build the F2007 after all?
haha maybe u applied clear or sth, my surface loks very "dry" compare to urs

Ok, below is some picture of the color testing.

left = tamiya TS-21 gold + tamiya ts-74 Clear red
right = tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf + tamiya TS-74 Clear red

First two picture is in natural light

this 2 is inndoors with white light

as you can see, the one with the silver base gives a almost pinkish tone to the paint. while the one with gold base is more "red"
and i think the gold base one will be suitable for this car. maybe its a little bit darker than the color on the actual car. but im satisfied with the result.

so after deciding how to paint, lets get it started. haha a f1 car in gold actually looks not bad~ XD

贊成你的選擇  金色底 + 透明紅 好些! 不過小心透明紅的運用, 噴得越多浸透明顏色油會越深色, 亦要留意色澤的勻循度.
雙星 TS  系列噴罐係 lacquer 性質黎喎!!! 點解澳大利亞的模型店有入 TS 油, 而唔入 Mr. Colour lacquer 油呢  雙星回佣好些?  
快些買噴筆和泵啦! 包保你會更上層樓, 長遠計一定比噴罐更化算!

yeh, some people already mention that i have to be very careful wit the application of clear red, especially for this very uneven surface. any tips one how to do it better??
and for the paint, im not sure what the reason is. there is tamiya can, my hobby can spray, i think they are both lacquer base?
but for the paint to put into airbrush and normal brush, theres only tamiya acrylic and enamel avaliable....... with a few exception in a chinese shop whick only stocked some matalic color for gundams..... so, if i do secide to buy the pump and airbrush, its gonna be difficult for me or get paint..... so have to consider this carefully. maybe order from hk, but dont know if u can post it.

Very impressive example for metallic red!!
Gold substrate plus transparent red topcoat........excellent combination I have ever think of and seen before.
May need to revise my norm of silver substrate by your great idea, Thanks a lot!!!

Clear coat has been applied.

After cobra, it would be either F2007, F2008 or Lotus 72.

Recently, just want to build something I really want. It is a time to stop experiment project

There is one from S27 but not interest in the one from them at all.

However, a better one is coming with 3 diff versions.

不過你都真係好耐冇砌, 部 aston martin 正唔正? 整邊個 version 啊?


how is making resin kit different to plastic, cos if kimi decides to win chinese GP this year, i might make the F2008 as well.
enjoy making F1 very much. or maybe i can just hope for revell to make the kit if messa wins the championship this year.
